Title: Yet another question...
Post by wannascream on May 26th, 2004, 11:59am
I was fairly lucky yesterday.  The CH came back around noon after being gone for about 5 days.  But I only had one attack and it was only about a Kip 4.

The reason I always thought these were sinus-related is that the pain could be excrutiating if I changed elevation - i.e. stand up, or be leaning down and then stand up straight.  Anyone else?

What I really hate about my time between bouts is the dull ache that continues - feels like I always have an earache and a toothache.

I go back to work after 5 days off.  Not looking forward to it...

PF thoughts out to everyone!

Barb

Yes changing head/body position can make my ch worse.  I'll go from being absolutely still to a raving maniac and back and forth, I'm sure it is quite a spectical for those who are watching me.

yep, during an attack i will assume all positions from fetal on the floor to pacing madly back and forth across my basement. Sometimes it feels better standing up, sometimes it feels better sliding my head across the floor. Sometimes a chair is employed for sitting and rocking. Sometimes it even feels better upstairs than it does downstairs. Sucks, but like thomas said, must look terribly odd to anyone watching.

Yep I'm all over the place too.
Some times on a low kip  I can just kinda stay still in my misery but when the pain is WAY HIGH no way man I am usually on the move in some fashion or another.

Some what taken out of context, but I get this part. I can deal with it but I sure don't like too..

I wish to know what this part is called? And what a Shadow is?  Mac

A shadow is that lingering feeling behind the eye or in the temple that says "Don't relax yet, I'm not through with you."
It's that irritant that lets you know the devil can strike at any time.
