Chronic for 7 years always just relied on imitrex but 3 or 4 a day was to dangerous, doctor had patient recently have strokes from over imitrexing so now I will try this oxygen thing but not sure of Quite how to use it. Title: Re: o2 questions Post by BobG on Feb 25th, 2004, 9:35pm Yes the mask with a bag. It's called a NON-rebreather mask. |

Title: Re: o2 questions Post by lauriew on Feb 25th, 2004, 10:35pm FYI- I just had oxygen delivered 2 days ago & they told me to never have the flow under 7. You'll be breathing in carbon dioxide & is very dangerous. My doctor has me on 7 to 10 for 15 to 20 mins. as needed. Some say the oxygen is more effective if you put it up to 15, either way dont go below 7. Good luck with it~ Laurie |
