So, you post this "decorate the tree" thread the day I have available to do my own family tree......now, I am not an anal person...not by a longshot...BUT....the night the tree gets decorated, everyone scrambles....Gil puts the lights on, then he splits....traditionally, if the kids have NOT had one single date all year, this would be the night they have one....because I turn into......well, if you ask me, a person who likes a nice looking tree....soo, even the cats scatter, as I position and reposition the ornaments, fluff the bows, agonize over the 2 red lights that blink together, rather than in a line....with the cats chasing the lights all over the ceiling....and the star atop the tree listing, coz I KNEW Gil measured it wrong, and it MUST be only 7 1/2 ft..... ..................AND YOU GIVE ME YET ANOTHER TREE TO AGONIZE OVER?????? Now, the cat is chasing everything I click and drag, I'm in physical pain, wondering if the santa, snowman or bow goes at the top, watching to be certain no 2 like colors are together....and that damn music has stopped, coz I've taken so flippin long.....and now I wonder if it's all gonna implode since I've gone past the time limit..... TIME TO MAKE SOME EGGGNNOOGGGG!! Thanks, Coots.....I'll getcha on April Fool's Day...or maybe I'll pay a leprechaun to bite yer ankles!! Be afraid...be very afraid! Post by sherryberry on Dec 11th, 2003, 11:40pm I haven't even checked out the link yet and I am laughing my ass off (LMAO for those of you that know only the computer jargon, laughing out loud (lol)) The cat stuff reminds me of my one Xmas that I was out of my country... I was in Japan. I had 3 cats who were VERY much into playing with the tree... it got so bad that we finally had to nail the tree upside-down onto the ceiling so that the cats wouldn't mess with it!! I must say even though it was a very melancholy Xmas due to it being my first away from home... it was still one of the most memorable that I ever had!! LOL! And I must say... Miklos... Mesquite and balls.... OUCH! Thank you Pam the Coots! You AM the HOOTS! LOL!! Sherry |
