Title: Re: Question for online shoppers Post by Charlie on Nov 29th, 2003, 4:47pm Eddie Bauer and LL Bean are good but last year I started buying stuff for a 3 year old "niece." What an education and fun too. Amazon sent me to lots of places and ebay as well. Charlie |

Title: Re: Question for online shoppers Post by Mastifflvr28 on Nov 29th, 2003, 4:51pm thanks for the input guys. Reason I was wondering is because I can set ouch up as an affiliate on the shopping sites, then ya'll can use that link to go shop at your favorite places and ouch would get a percentage of orders placed. Amazon is one of the possibilities. Ebay isn't, LOL. So, I wanted to know where ya'll shop...so I can find the best place for ouch to make some money :) Thanks alot...more input needed. Mast |
Title: Re: Question for online shoppers Post by Mastifflvr28 on Nov 29th, 2003, 5:03pm Ok, I'm wrong...ebay does have an affiliation program. Researching that now :) Mast |

Title: Re: Question for online shoppers Post by jadedgazer on Nov 29th, 2003, 5:04pm Mast, The college I attend has shut down our book store and a lot of us are looking at Amazon and Half.com to purchase our books in the coming semesters. Is there a way that my fellow students could help contribute to OUCH if you went that route? And can you see me now? LMAO |
Title: Re: Question for online shoppers Post by Mastifflvr28 on Nov 29th, 2003, 5:11pm HEY JACKIE!! I see you now!! :) I'll check out half.com next, thanks!! Mast |

Title: Re: Question for online shoppers Post by Mastifflvr28 on Nov 29th, 2003, 9:58pm Thank you Lori, that's another one I was checking out because I was reading the amazon message boards, lol. Title: Re: Question for online shoppers Post by Lori on Nov 29th, 2003, 10:03pm Hey, maybe DJ could (would)(should we beg ;) ) put a button on the left that would link folks to a page with all the different store buttons for all the shopping sites. That would make it easier if we need to shop to just clink a link on the left and be at a page full of buttons for different places! I can picture that in my head! :D |
Title: Re: Question for online shoppers Post by Mastifflvr28 on Nov 29th, 2003, 10:45pm Dang Lori, That is SUCH a good idea, snicker! Lemme finish researching these "affilation thingies" and then I'll have a conference with DJ :) Mast |

Title: Re: Question for online shoppers Post by BobG on Dec 1st, 2003, 3:30am Sorry Mast, I was just being snotty. As for shopping on line....I'd rather just decide what I want, go to the store and buy it with cash. That way I can see it before buying, I have it right now, no waiting for it to be delivered to the wrong address 2 weeks late and no credit card numbers sent out into cyber space. The only things I have ever bought is airline tickets. |

Title: Re: Question for online shoppers Post by Madame_DeFarge on Dec 2nd, 2003, 9:16am I have tried Overstock.com and loved it. I did most of my shopping there last year and had no complaints. I do not know if they have an affiliate program, though. Sometimes they have free shipping, which is nice if you buy something big. The clothing selection is not great, though. Mostly good for household appliances. Happy pf shopping |
