Bragg today for the weekend...we celebrated Thanksgiving today as I will be with my little Veterans tomorrow as no other nurses wanted to work...I have eaten so much today, I feel like I am about to POP!....We had a wonderful day together....My grandson is calling everyone "ALI"..that is his mother's name and his new word for the week LMAO....Hope all of you have a great day tomorrow... :)nancyc |

Post by cootie on Nov 27th, 2003, 1:55am Gobble gobble gobble........that's turkey talk for 'please do't eat me'............ha-ha-ha-ha........enjoy yer holiday everyone...........be safe and be PF........and don't eat too much !!! Tonight at dusk a big flock of wild turkey's were roostin in all the big trees up in the woods all around the house.......must be a dozen or more of em and a few Toms too !!!! There so clutzy and break branches and sum fall out of the tree then try and flap there way back up. In the morning at sunrise they all decide to leave the trees but our woods are steep hills and raveenes........cracks me up to see them fall out and land hard then hit that ground in the raveene and roll head over tail floppinng all the way down to the bottoms. It's halarious !!!!! So ungraceful too ! They hit hard and bounce then roll. Kinda cool to see on Thanksgiveing day out here gobbling around a while and then the big trophy buck we have out back also......what a jungle !! A hunters dream at the moment but turkey huntin is over now in this area. Pam with the flying turkey circus in her back yard |
