I just can't win for losing :(

I just had my Flu and Phnumonia vaccinations 3 weeks ago too.

I just hope I can keep down my meds so the beast doesn't come for me :(

My kids had their shots 3 weeks ago too, and are still sick.
I tell ya if it isn't broken, don't fix it. ::) :-/

Sorry Unsolved,

That flu thing is nasty business. I've never gotten a flu shot and have never ... knock on wood ... had the flu.

I know that it's really nasty, though. Hope you get better soon. Have some warm chicken noodle...

Yep, chicken noodle soup is the answer..or that is what my mom always told me anyway...I had my shot last week and every joint and bone in my body is aching this week...figure that one... ;;D...hope you feel better soon... :)nancyc

Hey sorry to hear so many of you have had the flu....we have a new killer strain of flu from china about to hit the UK....Health and PF times to you all.

Thanks guys -- I've got to have my shot this week.... If I don't get it I always get the flu - with it I don't (most of the time). My doc says take some aspirin for a couple of days afterwards. This usually works for me and I don't get sick from the shot.

Sorry you're sick and hope you get better soon. Look at the bright side - at least it's a 'different" ailment ;;D not CH.

Chicken soup is good ... all Jewish mother's recommend it.

Sorry your feeling so miserable Unsolved. Nothing worse then being ill besides having the beast standing by waiting for his next dance with you.

Sorry to hear about this.

It sounds very much like the thing I contracted last month. Thought I was gonna die. I haven't been that sick in 25 years. Very hot but not nauseous. Not really sure if that was flu but it was nasty.

I had an appointment w/ my doc this morning at 11 am but they called and cancelled, said the doc was still out of town. (Only 2 hours notice) I can't see him til Tuesday now....In the meantime, still have a high temp. Trying to keep it down w/ Motrin, cool baths...can't hold anything down...lost 8 lbs...and the beast woke me twice during the night
