Rainning so hard here, Noah won't even show up, much less a lunar eclipse.

But thanks for the graphics for those of us who won't be able too.

Well now.  How beautiful.

[smiley=sayyes.gif]!! the amazing thing is that here in Queens, NYC I was able to see the full effect of the beautiful show.  Japanese Lantern effect, Pleiades cluster of stars, and a freakin' meteor show ( I mean they were all over the place)  to boot!!!

Never seen it before (especially the meteors) and I thought I'd try for my little girl. She  was losin' her damn mind she was so excited LOL....we came in though it was freezing out (I know Grant, I know ;;D )

Thanks for the reminder man, I'm so pleased I gave it a shot - I'm sure others got an even cooler view.  :)

Mint

Darn!  Wish I had seen this earlier... it's just about over now...  It's a little cloudy here, but you can see it going in and out of the clouds... missed any colors etc...
Oh well...

I remember seeing a total eclipse of the sun when I was a little girl... too cool... looked at it with a shoe box! LOL!  My uncle put a bunch of polaroid lenses together in different directions to look at it... but none of the grown-ups would let us children look through that... they just weren't too sure it was safe...Evidently it was though, no one ended up even temporarily blind LOL!

Thanks KOP!

Local shots. Sorry about the crop sizing, etc. This was the first half. The second half was cloud covered......but if you mirror the pix, reverse them, and squint thru one eye, you got the idea.
