Title: Time to Cool Off Post by BarbaraD on Oct 30th, 2003, 6:27pm There were some things said on this board today by an employee of mine that should not have been said and they were said without my knowledge. My employees tend to get protective about me when I’m having headaches. Now while I might not condone it, I won’t apologize for it. She did what she thought was right. As to the comments afterwards – I think it’s time for everyone to cool down, take a deep breath and get back to the purpose of OUCH – to find a cause and cure for these headaches. We’re going to accomplish nothing with this petty squabbling. OUCH has some good things going on and it has some problems. Both need to be tended to and this BS has got to stop or nothing is going to get done. We're all nice people. Why don't we start acting that way? |

Stir it up then, play the peacemaker. It is so your style. I for one am not biting. I see you for what you are and what you are trying to do. I think a lot of other people in OUCH do now too. It's probably the most underhanded, disgraceful display of manipulation I've ever seen but the membership is starting to see it for what it is. I think it's time for everyone to cool down and for you to stop trying to scuttle OUCH. |

It's unfortunate that personalities have clashed. I have faith in all who are participating with OUCH to be able to keep the focus of the org. on education and awareness. I also have faith that whatever growing pains and clashes that are going on will be able to be resolved and everyone will carry forward with the best interests of OUCH in their heart. When we work as a team, we can get good things done. Not any one of us here at ch.com, or over at OUCH can accomplish things by themselves. Even the things that are already in motion (slow but sure) require the input and attention of all. As Mast has said, lets all be part of the solution. Cat |

This is OUCH business and I, too, saw a post from a newbie who is turned off because of the incessant bickering. I hope this whole situation will be remembered at election time and that OUCH can get back on track. I have my doubts, though...
