Post by Mark C on Oct 29th, 2003, 6:32pm
O2 supplies are complete except for one thing.....a correct mask. Anyone have one they want to part with? Let me know......I am searching!

Thanks,
Mark

Hey Mark...I usually have an extra couple laying around, but I haven't restocked since the convention....haven't been home long enough.

Here is a website where you can order.  I'm sure someone will get one to you, but you might order some and stock up.  I know my dog chews mine up on a regular basis...... ;;D

I have suggested that we stock these in the on line store...I can get them wholesale.

What do you think?

Make your opinion count!

I bought and sent a case of the things in the past years so I had my guy order a new case...doesnt the new case read non when they are actually partcial. I said screw it and sent three out hopeing that the peeps who I sent them to had partcials and could just take the bladder off the old and put it on the new to make a non-rebreather. ive got conformation on two that that was the case.

Oh well ;;D

Is this the real Not4hire or is this someone who stole his identity?

If it was the real one did the new Java help?

Steve.
Why wouldn't they be legal? Do they have to be sold through med supply?

I know that down here in Texas, or at least my little one horse town, you can't buy a non-rebreather mask without a prescription.  I tried for ages to get one.  Don't know if it's the same in different states, but I would imagine that might make it a little tricky to sell them in the OUCH store.  It would have to be researched and the legal issues of it checked out.

I got the same reply here in Tennessee Roxy, I have no idea why. I can buy then on-line all day long from medical supply houses and eBay both so what gives local? Just being a pain in the ass, I mean head I guess.

Not to worry, my CH family is taking EXCELLENT care of me and I love all of humanity because of it.

Gosh, think of all the illegal things we might use a rebreather mask for?  UGHHHH - Ok, I'm thinking.... UGHHHH????

Guess I never thought about it - I've always just picked them up from the O2 supplier. Don't know if I had a script or not. Got a friend there who's a resp. therapist.

Guess this might should be checked out. What WILL the government think of next to make illegal?

I would guess that if they are controlled it would be for safety reasons...  I hope that isn't the case though.  I want a mask with a kickin OUCH logo on it!   ;;D

Don't know about the logo, but I guess you could put a decal on it.  Will check it out.

I am checking on legality of selling masks.  That is why I have not posted message to BoD.  I have already learned you have to have ALL your ducks in a row with that group!  LOL.
