Title: Re: Depakine Post by Charlie on Oct 18th, 2003, 5:00pm Joke: I wonder if this is the same thing as Depakote over here. If so, it's been around here for some time and I took it for epilepsy. Many anti-seizure drugs work for CH. It has to be slowly begun and the doctor will ask you for blood work from time to time. It can slow you down a bit, make you hungry and make it easy to gain weight which is common. Like many anti-seizure drugs, there is a slight hair loss. It has worked for some I think. It didn't help my epilepsy so I was taken off. It may work for you though. Let the others here who know more about drugs tell you more. Hope you're doing well. Charlie |

Title: Re: Depakine Post by cathy on Oct 18th, 2003, 5:53pm I have just been told that Depakine is sodium valproate- an anti-convulsant usually used for epilepsy so it is probably the same as Depakote Cathy |
