Title: WOW, I don't have CH after all Post by Patrick_A on Oct 16th, 2003, 4:46am My neighbor has informed me that i actually smoke too much, and that my HA's are caused by it. And she does have a license to practice, umm, err...to sell real estate. Diagnosed me in 5 minutes, Damn shes good! I wonder if she takes referrals? Anybody else interested? Patrick ;D |

Yes thats it! Ill write a paper about how there is a disproportianate number of murdered ppl with know it all attitudes and how this could be the underlying cause of the dissolution of social etiqutte and the break down of the modern family unit. Nah a paper on the link between anxiety and fronline soldiers who suffer .... Jeez Im starting to bore myself. Day 7 and if I dont get a smoke soon, I might catch a plane out to see you neighbor soon. |

Back in the old days he used to come on and tell us all if we quit smoking we'd be cured! This kind of stuff used to really get to me, especially the old, "I've had bad headaches before and ... bla bla bla" I pretty much ignore the "wisdom" of these "experts" anymore. Title: Re: WOW, I don't have CH after all Post by BarbaraD on Oct 16th, 2003, 5:12am Gee, I waaaay back when I got my Real Estate License they didn't teach HAs - or maybe I was out in the hall banging my head when they were doing that part. But they teach it at the IRS now. A few years back I tried to get an audit postponed because I was in the middle of a cycle and couldn't so I had someone drive me to the audit. I explained that I was on some "heavy" medication (DHE-45) and was a "little" out of it. The auditor told me all I needed to do was soak my feet in hot water and the headache would go away - that's what her son did. ??? As the audit wore on she got worse and my head got really bad --- it ended up with me throwing a file at her and walking out! I went back to the office wrote a Senator got her ass fired and got a new audit when my head was clear and WON the second one. ;D Apparently the Senate didn't know about the medical training at the IRS! Luckily already had that lesson and could skip the class. On another note, I'm tired of people telling me to take an advil cuz it cures all headaches. Title: Re: WOW, I don't have CH after all Post by sandie99 on Oct 16th, 2003, 7:06am I wish somebody would tell me that I don't have ch... :) My mum did try the famous 'Are you sure you're not exaggerating the pain and the times you have headache?' bit. Luckily when a neurologist tells you that you indeed have something, people tend to believe it :) I have read about ch from so many medical sources that I can't tell you which is which, but I don't recall reading that smoking would directly cause ch. There has been studies which point out that many sufferers do chain smoke or have smoked in the past. But then there are people like myself who have only light up candles :) and still suffer ch. I wonder how your "expert" there would explain the ch patients like me? Perhaps I smoked in my past life? ;D I certainly would like to know... ;) Best wishes, sandie99 |

She didnt even know what a CH was until i told her, and a week later shes diagnosing me because her friend also had these CH's and they went away when he quit smoking. LMAO. It don't bother me as bad as when i am out of cycle like i am now, but if i was in cycle, i probably would have told her to go to hell, seeing's how i don't like the bitch anyways....bwahahaha! Maybe someday I will get smart and try it! Dave as far as Jack goes and his smoking post if thats all you got out of Jacks post its sad. I am a little touchy when it comes to Jack. Jack taught me how to handle my cluster pain so I could live a normal life. His knowlege and wisdon is very much missed on this board by people who know him. I am a smoker but I love Jack and I miss him here! You know what even tho I smoke he came to see me twice. Why people have to bring up people who aren't here any more and poke fun and say thing just burns me up! My problem I know ! Going back to my corner now. |
