Title: Wanna help? Post by jonny on Sep 18th, 2003, 7:18pm Never asked for and never planned too. But switching insurance companies has me in a ringer, 4 weeks to see a pcp and six to see the Neuro that diagnosed me....I have about six days of meds and thats tapering so I dont crash and burn when they run out. I went 9 weeks with only three HA's and now that I have to taper down im getting nailed. All im asking is that if you have any lithium contact me...the verapamil I have comming "Thank you my friend" Dont mind me...im a chronic that dont want to see that side of the street again..... ...........................................jonny |

My insurance limits me to 6 tabs of Zomig ZMT 5mg., per month, I need at least one every night during my ten week cycle. During the 22 months pain free between cycles, I should get those fucking 6 mofo tabs, every month. I haven’t. Somebody, please, just shoot me. |

What is the penalty for interstate prescription drug transactions? Really, I think it is great that everyone is willing to help out and I would help in a heartbeat (if I had or needed prescription drugs). Just an observation, thats all. jmin |

If you don't understand why we would would risk breaking laws to help a clusterhead prevent going back into pain, then you don't understand the nature of this website and the resulting family it has spawned. Jonny and I don't see eye to eye on much anymore, but....he is a clusterhead. My husband is a clusterhead, too. Jonny built us a regulator for our O2 tank and shipped it up here for us. Now, my husband has some left over lithium that may or may not make it through customs and across the border. It would be safer and probably much easier if we could find some in the states for Jonny, but if we can't, then we'll try to ship it from here. Jonny got some pain free time this year and now he's running out of meds that could keep him there. Am I going to help prevent that if I can, regardless of all the angry words we've spoken to each other in the recent past? Hell yeah I am. This is different than fighting with each other. This is fighting on the same team to fight the beast. Whole different ball game in that regard. Would I risk legal consequences to fight the beast for any clusterhead in trouble? Say it with me now.... Hell, yeah! edit: there are some that the shroom therapy has failed here (my hubby is one of them), and there are those who may just not want to pursue that route. Further, if the person has been on other meds for a long time, as Jonny has, it's a really bad idea to try this route without detoxing first. Some folks also have personal reasons for not wanting to try the shrooms. |

Just don't give me that "I can't try it because my family, job, life is much to important to me to risk" argument (pertaining to shrooms). I would suspect that the majority of those who feel that way would also not risk the prescription thing. I understand why someone would risk 10 years and 250,000 dollars to do this. If you read my earlier posts in this thread you would see that I pointed that out. The mother baby thing is a bit of a stretch though. Would you steal food for your baby if it meant your baby could end up doing hard time also? Anyway, enough said. Just be carefull out there. I would suggest you take this kind of help "underground" as I would not put it past the DEA to monitor these types of transactions over the web. I think shrooms have negative connetations in our society today and pharma drugs are kosher (normal and ok). Personaly I am suspicious of any pharma drug and place VERY negative connotations on them. I guess what I am trying to say is that everyone is looking in with that distinctly individual outlook that has been developed over many years, generations and cultures. If this forum was in chineese, I bet the majority of ppl here would be freaking over Imitrex but happy to discuss growing methods for all their herbs and funghi. Just a little perspective from John. He cant spell, but boy can he roll. |
