Title: I discovered the meaning of life...
Post by Carl_D on Sep 17th, 2003, 6:30pm
My bass player, Doc says the meaning of life is in two words - pay attention.
I have to disagree.
I do believe the meaning of life is this :

Time is of the essence, do not waste it.

Good advice, in my book. Works for the rest of the life forms that make up the _Food_ chain. It's really not all that bad of a planet....if only we'd Pay Attention.

So much for waxing philosophic,

before coming to the conclusion that the answer to the great mystery of life is .........3.

I tended to prefer the old stand by.

 Now I'm torn.........

Life is also not about the destination, but about enjoying the trip.

Too many of us youngin's focus on what's at the end, the if only we could... syndrome.  Happiness is in your heart and soul, not in what you make, what you get, or where you end up.

In the end, we all end up dead.  Enjoy the trip.

I love those!  All good ones.

2 birds in on the barbecue are not nearly as satisfactory as a bird on the power line.     ;D

Actually, for me, the meaning of life is.........

"To live is Christ, to die is gain"

But I am sure that doesn't surprise anyone.  But I also like the Live each day like it is your last.

We would all live differently if we did that.

The secret to life is #3 plastic.  When God has an equal amount above and below ground, He will cleanse the planet.

Now you know just how important it is to recycle.
