I want one! I want one!

No, I never used one...never even heard of one before, but it sounds awesome....especially for those of us who are scared to death of needles.

You think insurance would pay for one? Hmmmmm....

I found the conversion from "mg", which we are used to when  discussing Imitrex, to "ml" which the needle-free injector uses....confusing. One is solid...one is liquid...here is what I found...

Quote:
The Injex 30 Ampule delivers from 5 to 30 insulin units or .05 to .30 ml. Each ampule comes in a sterile package and is to be used only once and then discarded.

from the imitrex statdose:

"Each syringe cartridge contains 0.5 ml. of solution containing 6 mg of sumatriptan"

Isn't that what Dr. Mc Coy used?

So, .25ml would be 3mg of trex.  Half of a .5ml vial.

Same thing with an insulin syringe that you buy to inject from the vials.
