Title: Poem: The Head Demon Post by Jewel on Aug 28th, 2003, 7:39am I wrote this poem a long, long time ago when I first started getting CHs: The Demon begins His mission drilling the flaming red rod into my skull again, again, again and again driving me to my knees So desperate for relief that I cannot even trust my own judgment; for in this unimaginable torment I would do anything-- A N Y T H I N G Using my fingers, I force my eye as far as it will go in its socket screaming, squirming and turning while trying to stay still to keep calm Finally the Beast lets loose and the tight band of hot metal thorns is released But who knows how long this remission will last? Who knows the intensity of the ones to follow? Who knows how much more of this I can handle? *For more poetry, see my website. ;D |
