Visitors for OUCH.... Just talked to Englewood Beach and Yacht Club and here's the availability for our get-together: Two br/2ba from Oct. 11th til the 18th. Week-$600.00 Three night minimum Nightly-$ 90.00 This unit has a king sized bed, 2 twins and a sleeper sofa. One br/2ba from Oct. 11th til the 18th Weekly-$500.00 Three night minimum Nightly-$ 75.00 I have taken the only one br that has a Friday availability so that anyone arriving on Friday night has a place to meet. I can either have it rented out or keep it for myself. At lease that way, we have use of the facilities and a place to meet for the business of forming the Florida Chapter.......or any others, like SC to use to form their chapter if the timing is right for them, etc. Again, these are fully furnished condos with exercise gym (new this year), heated pool, spa, boat docks, outdoor grills and patio and the most beautiful grounds, and only about 150 steps to the ocean. Restaurants and a tiki bar are within walking distance, as is a convenience store and local gift shops. It is on a barrier island, known as Manasota Key, and has very good beach facilities. Directions are: South on I 75 to Venice. Right off of 2nd Venice exit,(also known as the Jacaranda exit) going west. You are now on Jacaranda Blvd. Stay on this rd until it dead-ends into SR 776........then turn left. This street later becomes Indiana Rd., Englewood Rd, and eventually South McCall. Take SR 776 approx 8 miles until you see McDonalds on the right. Beach Road is just before McDonalds ...take it, going right (towards ocean). 2 miles later you will find the road dead-ends at Englewood Beach. Turn left and the 3rd complex on the left is EBYC. If you look this up on a stupid internet map, you might find Englewood Beach mis-called Punta Gorda Beach. Punta Gorda Beach is not on Manasota Key. If you wish to book with EBYC, please call very soon as availability may not last. A $200.00 deposit is required within 10 days after phone request. Cancellation is good til 45 days before arrival date. Deposit is not held and can be used towards rent. Their phone number is 1-941-474-7761. Tell them that you are with Donnas' party. Saturday arrivals start at 2:00 pm check out time is 10:00am I will have our condo Friday at 2:00. Let me know if you will be here and I will send you my phone number. |
