Ian, boy can I sympathize with you!  I have only been cronic about 6 years, and I have had a couple breaks for a month or so.  You have not even had that!

My heart breaks for you!   I know it can get tough, but hang in there!

I had a (shall I say) very heated "discussion"  with the beast for the past hour or so.  He threw a 9 at me.  He doesn't like to listen, but I finally beat him back.

I am sure you know exactly what I am talking about!  You have kicked his ass before, and you can do it again, and again, and again, and again, forever.  You are strong enough to have made it this far, you can continue!

I am new to this site, but people like you have really helped me to continue the good fight.  We can't let that bastard beat us!   You and the rest of us WILL emerge victorious one of these days.

You can do it.  I, and the rest of here, know you can.  We are all pulling for you, just as you have pulled for others in the past!

Thank you for your inspiration to me, and I know you can continue on.

Hang on!

Chuck

Good to meet you zanychef!
Greetings from New Zealand!
Sorry to hear you're a bit down, and that 6 years of battling has left you battle-weary.
You know you're tough. You know you can do it, and that it there will be painfree days when you know real peace - hopefully not too far away.

You've found the right place - here you are with others who know what you experience and are ready to help.
Day at a time, and minute at a time when necessary.
Hoping you are PF soon

Morning Zanychef...Have you noticed how many have already read your thread in about an hour...Wonder how many know exactly how you feel this morning???Tiresome is an understatement, but knowing we are not alone sure has made it easier to bear...always the chance of finding something for relief...I appreciate more every free moment and hold on to those when the pain is strong...Continue to reach out and know that there are others who understand...Wishing for painfree moments at your house...PPP

Hi Zany, :D
I am Zany's Girlfriend of the past six months. My names Alison and i have only seen how bad Zany gets in the past 2 weeks. I think he hides alot from me because he knows i worry and that i have alot of health problems myself. I think he left this messeage for me to see because i know he is really down at the moment. I think that he feels that i will get frightened of seeing how bad he gets and will leave him. I don't think he believes that i love him so much and that i am not going anywhere. Maybe thats hes feeling down as made him feel like this. I wish i could do more for him and i'm trying to understand about the cluster headaches through reading things on this site. I am so glad he found it because i think it will do him good to reach out to others who also get cluster headaches. I think they can help more then what i can.
So darling this is what i got to say.......
I love you very very much and i am here for when you need me to be. I am not going anywhere and i want to be with you forever. I hope you believe this and i know we will be just fine. ;)
I hope everyone you didn't mind me posting this and i will sign up as a supporter.  I just Wanted Zany to see how i feel about him and i'm not going to run anywhere. We are going to face this together with me by your side. ;D
Alison xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Dude,

Im living proof that one can live with chronic CH for 28 years, one does what one has to to get by.

BTW, if your girl sticks with you that is the true test of love.

Good luck to you my friend.

Man, I always feel humbled by the "Chronics". Everytime i start feeling sorry for myself, I think of ya'll and what ya'll endure! You guys are some strong Mf'ers.
Truly too, There is so much help out there now. It seems the worst problem is finances and Insurance difficulties! The verapamil and Prednisone cocktail i am taking at the moment isnt really a walk in the park, but as i was telling my wife a moment ago. A constant dull headache is 10x's better than a 9Kip 3 times a day. At least i can sleep!
I wish us all PFDAN, Patrick
