Patrick,

The imitrex Stat-dose (which is the injector with the blue tubes) comes in two parts. The injector "welcome kit" is a Gray box , a little larger then a cigarette pack. It comes with the stat-dose pen and a place you can put those "2 blue tubes". You normally get that with your first prescription of trex. The second part is the two blue tubes that are connected together.

Sounds like you're missing the Injector kit. Let us know...

Jim

I didn't have the statdose injector at first.  If you use a sharp instrument you should be able to get one of the injections out of the blue tubes.  If you can take it out you can slide the injection into the top part of your leg (I have always made sure the part of the needle that has the little scoop on it is on top before i inject myself, and using something thin at the top push the medication in and you will see a little black part coming down and you will feel a slight burn as the imitrex enters the skin.  I use only half the liquid at a time.  I hope you get the statdose pen because even if you do what I just said it's much easier to screw the statdose pen into the injection to pull it out and then do what I said.  This probably makes no sense but I hope maybe some of it does.  Stuey

I also have extra injectors.

Lots of us only use them to get the vial out of the tube so we can inject the 1/3 or 1/2 to stretch out what little Imitrex our insurance companies let us have.  That little of the med actually does work as well as a full dose 99.999% of the time.  Personally, I don't use them at all.  I just get the vial out with my fingernail and push in the meds with a q-tip.

You can get the glass injection out simply using a butter knife, just slide it under the lip and pry it up, be clean!

The first time I used a nasal spray I didn't know how it worked so I wasted it... sprayed my shirt.
