Post by cootie on Aug 7th, 2003, 9:01pm Got a BIG 3 day biker party not far from here our group is puttin on.....jus got back from settin up the big canopy's and figurein out where the band stages will be and porta pots and vendors..got so much rain the entire campground field we have rented is a swamp hole ! We set up our camper in the dry area and friends that went tanight ta help set stuff up set there stuff up by us..gonna cook on the grills and make breakfast for the security crew. Got 3 bands.....bike show and all sorts of cool stuff. Brad has ta work Friday so we'll get there noonish. Got a nice big lake by our camper area and should be fun.....unless it rains....oh my....it'll be a total muck hole if it rains again. Should be alot of fun....hopein there's no security problems since were in charge of that. Wish you all could come !!! That's my weekend. Pam that is stiff and creaky |

Post by maggie_may on Aug 8th, 2003, 12:43pm Tonight I'm on my way to see Bon Jovi at Giants Stadium **gah! wat a jerzee girl!** SaturDAY brings sleeping in - hopefully, finishing laundry, food shopping, working on a crocheted throw, and reading "King John" for my Shakespeare class in the fall. Saturday night brings probably staying in and by myself since my BF is going out with his friends. Sunday, like all Sundays, I'm going down to my Mom's. We'll either go shopping or stay in and make macaroons and work on our scrap books. Monday carries over my weekend since I have the day off. I'm going to see Aerosmith and Kiss at PNC Arts Center. I hope Kiss is first so I can leave after them (I've seen Aerosmith back in 99 or 2000, and they really weren't that great live). whew! maggie |

Yeah Yeah I know it's only CFL Football but it's a great evening here in Montreal... and the beer is going to be good. Saturday : Off to play golf and sweat Friday's beer... and then have a few "replacement" beers... Sunday : Not sure. Let's see, I started my weekend today when I went out to lunch with a friend. My usual noon visit from the demon arrived, I popped a pill, walked into the restaurant and asked for ice in a towel. Then I sat for a half hour, rocking and clutching my temple while my friend ate. The CH went away, but I'm still wiped out from the insomnia, the pain and the meds. Sat afternoon I'm going over to my chiropractor's house. I've been seeing her 3 times a week during this episode, so we've worked out a barter arrangement--she treats me and I train her on her PC. Sun AM church. Sun afternoon a handyman is coming over to give me some estimates (there's much more to THAT story, stayed tuned for updates!) So, where's the rest? Where's the play? The good news is that I was asleep by 3AM this morning instead of my trend of 5AM/6AM. Hope ya'll make up for it this time, I'll try to schedule more accurately in the future! PS I'm going to post an awesome story about my cat, be sure to let me know what you think. Carla |
