Title: Neuro requests an appointment !!!!
Post by don on Aug 5th, 2003, 10:27am
Last night I recieved a phone call from my neuro, not his office, from him personally. He found out I was going to Rome as a representative from OUCH through one of his colleagues. He asked if I could find time to come see him prior to the trip.

The inportant message here is that he found out OUCH would be there through ONE OF HIS COLLEAGUES. Words getting out.

How long should I make him wait in my waiting room reading Ladies Home Journal? LMAO

LMMFAO!...

That's "wicked awesome" Don....

Talk him into joining OUCH, as well as his other Neuro buddies... maybe then the word'll spread a little quicker...

When he is ready to contribute in some way to OUCH I will suggest honorary medical membership.

Until then he's out!

I've been working on him though. He's got the T-Shirt, he's got the mug. He's a good guy. I'll hook him up sooner or later.

That is amazing!

For the wait time question: Schedule him for the 1st appointment of the day 8:30. Call him into the meeting at 9:15.  Talk to him for two minutes and leave again for 20, then return and finish the discussion.  Then bill him $200.00.   (Just kidding)

Great news!

and the plot thickens...wtg Don!
When/if  the docs start taking notice of OUCH it can only help our cause.
I also like the idea of an Honorary Medical Membership for any Dr wanting to get involved.

Scratch his feet with sharp metal devices and make hiim stand on one foot.  8)

Other than that, tell him that OUCH appreciates his taking us seriously and that we would welcome any input.

Sounds like a great guy. Nice going Don.

One more thing ... make sure he has at least 3 or 4 pages of personal information to fill out. Then when he turns 'em in give him a couple more with the same questions but for another "agency".  ;D

Tell him there's absolutely no way you can fit him in prior to the trip but you'd be glad to see him privately if he pays anytime... ;D

Don,
Not only make him wait but have some people come into the waiting area after him and see them before you see him.  Yea...that's it.
