Title: The end is here Post by pablo on Aug 3rd, 2003, 8:57pm Howdy folks, I've been lurking recently due more to work demands than anything else. I think my current episode is over. Thank goodness! Yesterday I put it to a test by working for an hour with my Stihl 026 in the heat. I was sweating buckets into my all-in-one hat and no CH. For now, I think the beast has gone back to minding its own business. For those folks who are chronic or are still in cycle, my heart goes to you. While in-episode, I was able to still workout (swimming only initially, then swimming with some running, then more running than swimming, then back to running) and do some physical activities. Mostly, because one of my triggers seemed to be heat/blood pressure rising, I tried to ... err, ... stay cool. :) Good luck and we'll catch ya in five years (or longer! <g>) -pablo |

Please understand that in the world of ch.com, there have been a lot of people who come here when in pain, and disappear when they aren't, only to return later asking for our help and our energy, again. It's like the cousin who only calls when they need something. Are we still here for them when they do come back? Yes. Do we feel used and hurt after it happens time and time again? Yes. Do the offending returners get shit when they come back? Yes. Do they get the help and support they need anyway? Yes. I wouldn't exactly call that tit for tat. Your post was misinterpreted. That happens a lot. But what really matters, I think is that: Every person that replied to you (with the exception of Kim - but she might have - I just have no idea what the hell she said - heh heh) was trying, in their own way, to not only express their joy at you being pain free, but to talk you into staying...to talk you into helping others become PF too. If you look closely, you'll see that all those "snipes" are people fighting to keep you here. DJ's words that you quoted...his argument as to why YOU SHOULD STAY. Nobody wants to nuke your ass. Yer post did read as if ya was 'outa here' till next cycle...and there are so many people here new and old with questions on meds and treatments or jus need advice from sumone that already has been thru it.
