Title: Say Goodbye............ Post by kim on Jul 30th, 2003, 8:50pm Tonight I said goodbye to an ole man that saw me grow up and mostly kept a grin on his face (a few grimaces in the prOcess ;D) Grampa Zim passed away today at noon. He was 75 years old and a good man. His son is my best friend and lives with my family. It's also my daughter's birthday....Sad and happy. Young and old. Movement and then emotional suspension. Life's globe. I want to tell you all the things in my mind. I think the best things come from sharing all that is within you. No matter that people don't always understand .........eventually they will know...be willing to take a slap and some sass.........it is a good weedkiller. ;) Please take a moment to wish the Zimmermann family peaceful passage ................ :) PFDAN*** |

Said a prayer for him today and for you and the family. I am sharing some of what you are going through as I spent today at the funeral of Holly, our 25 year old cousin who died last week of an H overdose. I don't think I will ever be able to forget seeing the agony of her mother. It was unbearable. Tomorrow I am preparing for my son's 4th birthday party, after what I saw today it will be lovely to see 12 hideously behaved but entirely innocent kids having the time of their lives, while quietly praying that NONE of the 12 go down the awful road Holly did.
