Post by hopefull on Jul 23rd, 2003, 7:00pm
This helps me with face/eye pain becarefull not to get burned....Take a new clean sock empty a sm/med bag of reg rice into it tie the end in a knot and nuk it for 2-3 min like i said becarefull it's hot once it cools to a good temp place over side of face that hurts...SOMETIMES my vision changes in the eye from the heat but eye Dr. said not to worry as the eye cools it goes back to normal..don't let that scare you this really helps

Any kind of heat makes my pain worse... and most Kip-10 attacks make me sweat buckets. I prefer to put my head in the freezer or lay almost naked on the cold linoleum kitchen floor with the AC on and ceiling fans running.

Try putting the rice sock in the freezer then

I might try that. I have always had a problem with any kind of heat... can't even stand to mow the lawn or do anything outside in the summer (I live in southern California)... anything over 80 degrees and I sweat very profusely. I loved living in Alaska for the year that I was there. I plan to move back there as soon as I win the lottery.
