For a quick thought or prayer no matter what your belief in whatever higher power. My cousin, 15 has a pituitary tumor that reaches behind her eye and has to have her second operation. She wasn't expected to pull through the first. She wants to be a doctor when she grows up and I want her to have the chance to do that or whatever else she wants. Someone that age to me deserves the chance to go places, see things, have fun, love, get hurt in love, screw around if she pleases, have kids, the whole nine. Her name is Allyson. Just a quick thought for this kid. I imagine God has a plan which I don't understand but I am trying to have faith she will survive this since kids are so much more resilient than us it seems. The whole room is full of electricity and innocent excitment....the deck is shuffled...hands won and lost are past and gone...as a fresh new hand is dealt to kids playing cards.

Sure each wants to "win"....as the cards lay face down....now dealt as yet picked up...hightened expectations, prayers and spells and lucky winks swirl over all the now even sameness ...of the card's backs rearainging the hidden suits and runs of hidden fate.

We can only give them roots and wings. I pray her loved ones reflect joy to her.

Who will luck bless? ......The one that enjoys the game. That child has won already.

I just want to thank everyone. Thank you doesn't seem enough. I am just rooting for her. I always wonder why things happen to innocents and can't comprehend it like everybody I guess. None of us can escape the inevitable but for someone so young who hasn't really tasted life it just doesn't add up. This kid is into her books, behaves and does what she's told. Thank you again I will relay this to her mother and father that you guys are wishing them well. Stuey

Stuey, tell Allyson that there are a whole lot of people wishing her the best.
