After working with several chaplains and having been with quite a number of military folks from all branches of the service I have found the moral MUCH improved, As for the economy, what happened during the last two years of Clinton's reign? If you will look closely you will see a steady decline in all of the main indicators even with the cooked books put out by the Clinton treasury. Factor in the tremendous losses incurred by the attacks on 9/11 and the following cutbacks in many key areas of our economy and I think you will find we are in much better shape than we could have been in. BTW, Clinton didn't go after Osama. He was offered him twice and refused. As for the blowjob, in any corporation in the United States he would have been fired and probably prosecuted by the EEOC. jc |

I'm still wondering why it was necessary, even vital, that the U.N. weapons inspectors pull out of Iraq before finishing the job of never finding any WMDs, because those still-not-found WMDs were a "direct threat" to this country and something the Iraqis were disseminating to all kinds of terrorist states worldwide, including their non-allies Al Qaeda. You don't have to have been in the military or be any kind of expert to realize how inept the supposedly formidable Iraqi army was, how ridiculous the claims that it posed any threat at all to any entity beyond its borders (we're not in 1991 anymore), and most especially how completely ludicrous the argument that it could do anything to this country except sit there and be vaporized by our vastly more lethal forces. Then we started talking about frisbies and I had to respond. The world's longest frisbee throw was done by the creator of the frisbee, who made a lightweight disc that flew forever. I saw a documentary on him once, but it has been a few years. It was lightweight and I believe it had a hole cut in it. Dems are just pissy because they are in the minority for the first time. They will get used to it, will convert, or will leave the country. I am still waiting to see Streisand, Shawn Penn, and Genine Garofolo buy their one way ticket to parts unknown. Economy declined before Bush was ever elected. That is fact. The fact that any of us still have jobs given the attacks on this country and the lies perpetuated by big corporations during the Clinton administration shows that if it weren't for Bush's tax cut we would be in a depression. My company is hiring and has continued to do so for the last year. Most of the problems in California are because of failed regulatory practices and increased spending in government, led by Davis. Is he the only one? No, but he is the fall guy when it goes south. Just as Bush would be had he inherited a good economy. |
