Cat:  bingo on 39!

Georgia:  glad to see your font.  You share the correct answer with Cat on 39, and you're also on the money on 38 and 40.  Bravo!

However, no enchilada on 37.  A bit of an overreach.  Simpify, simplify.....

Um, Georgia - you're doing extremely well.   Boffo on 37 and 43.  Nix on "The Hobo Song", but if you hum a few bars maybe I can fake it....

As far as their being of "a certain genre", well, a lot of them are show tunes from the Golden Age of Broadway, but others are just novelty items, again, from the past.  That's to say these are not transient, not pop tunes for the most part.  This isn't to imply a value judgment, and I certainly invite and welcome anyone to create their own lists.... or do the same for movies, TV shows, whatever.  It's great fun.

Echo - wow.  You've stumped the band on that one!

It sounds like #42 should be that song from A Sound Of Music - "High on the hill is a lonely goatherd", but I don't know the exact title...

#41 could be "Jailhouse Rock", but probably isn't!  :)

Mikey - you rock.  Though jailhouse does not.  However you're right on 42 "The Lonely Goatherd".  41 is difficult.  Think of a movie with Frank Sinatra....

Good work!

Sherry - good brain work.  As a hint, the title of this tune is not what most people remember - that's the "hobo" part.  It's the famous line about the Revolutionary equine that will tell it....

Keep it up!
