Our email conversation the other day and your observations about the first cluster "attack" you witnessed gave me the courage to stand up and speak out for what I believe in here. For a person who's never really lived with cluster headaches, you've really done your homework and have educated yourself amazingly well as to what these things SHOULD look like. Along the way, you've obviously learned what they should NOT look like to, and for that you need to be commended. Thanks for all you do here, Patty. |

AND thank you for coming to my rescue on the cluster matters as well, particularly in the recent past. I've tried to educate myself, and along the way made many great friends and am meeting and getting to know people from all walks of life. I ain't doin it for me, but if I never believed in getting what you give, I have certainly learned that in the past months. I hope that the little stuff I do can touch someone in a good way. Either way - that comment must have been made by a Bostonian sissy who was a wonderful father to a girl named Millie. -18?? Come on - we're just coming inside at that point. get to -40° and we'll talk, ok? It's at that point that we start teaching all y'all the proper protocol to lick a metal gate and live to tell about it. (It's all in the temperature your mother gets the kettle to, to be honest with you. Mine, she boiled that sucker almost dry - sure taught ME to never do that again. ::) MAN, I don't know which hurt more. The metal burn or the scalded tongue. And now I read that that could be classified as child abuse. Good thing these bleeding hearts weren't around in those days - I'd probably still be stuck to that door!) And, by the way, there isn't a Canadian kid alive who hasn't tried this. It's a rite of passage. Well, ok, maybe not today - we were 90° today, Don. (That's Fahrenheit, so you can understand it. Not like the rest of us who live in the sensible metric world.) |
