Oh brother.

I received an email that seemed to come from a friendly email address on this site. However, it was oddly formal and so I deleted it, suspicious since it contained a warning about the Klez virus. The link included "mail to me" supposedly contained a "Fix" for the virus.

I've confirmed that the email was a phony which means a virus was probably attached to it in the link.

Just a warning.

I have deleted the same kind of emails myself.

... Klez enters into your email program, and emails itself to everyone in your directory, and repeats the proccess from there....

... it's really not harmful to my knowledge, just really fuckin' annoying...

Yep, seems to be making the rounds again. I got one this morning. Luckily Norton catches it.

I got my worst flaming over that stupid virus. It was the first virus I had ever gotten too.

Got nailed by a virus that AVG caught but before I could choose what to do with it the AVG screen disapeared....BAM!!!!!, im on the cell to Cat, got her husband Clark who told me what to do.

KILLED THAT FUCKER I did!!

I got the same email today and deleted it

I got the Klez the comp got real slow and i have a dell 1.7 ghz i could not restore the hard drive with xp windows there was no more restore files ate them up .Had to strip the hard drive and reload everything i was mad as a FM

I got that email from OneEyeBlind today, It was really from somewhere else but it had her name on it.
