I've heard his name mentioned a few times. He used to post a lot, but seemed to stop posting around the middle of 2000. He was once president of OUCH, right? I searched through the archives, but couldn't find anything that suggested some kind of fall-out.
So, WTF happened? If nobody will say, I'll start rumors.. :)

I think no one's answering you because....no one really knows. He just took his toys and went home.

Ted, Drummer and I worked together on the first OUCH brochure and first newsletter, so I do know for sure that he exists, because the three of us talked on the phone. He also appears in Aki Peterson's video about clusters. So he IS real, in case anyone's wondering. He also unofficially hosted the first OUCH convention in his garage in ... 1999?

I tend to think he's out there watching still. Just like Jack Boyd, Paco, BarbD, CarlD, lcBob, etc. etc. Old clusterheads never die.....they just lurk. ;)

p.s. and, no, he never did post an exodus memo or get into a final pissing match with anyone. He just stopped posting. Just like Paco and Jackie Boyd did. Those boys were all too cool for 'F*** You (and the Horse you Rode in On)' posts. It just wasn't their style. They just left.

I would dearly love to see Drummer, Paco, and all the rest of the CH pioneers come back to help at OUCH :(

I know there are reasons why many of them left, but I am trying hard, along with many others, (thanks Elaine for the constant kick in the a$$ to get moving) to get OUCH back on track and doing some projects and work to get this damn affliction cured :)

I realize that the MB and OUCH aren't the same thing completely but I would love to have their experience and expertise back in the OUCH annals.

Instead of asking us what happen to Drummer maybe you could just write him and ask. I see his name on here as loged in from time to time. I have talked to him. He is still around. He still has clusters, he still is a wonderful man, he is still a good friend to many. He is still ch.coms number 1 idiot! (Joke between us old timers)!

A nice email to people sometimes goes a lot futher than a post ;-)!
