Title: Re: Chapters and Districts Post by Donna on Jun 25th, 2003, 10:14am Thanks, DJ, for allowing non-officials of OUCH to use this mb for business. Also, there IS a place for us non-officials to communicate on the OUCH site, if we are members......so maybe we should use it for chapter business once we get this thing rolling. Chapters are a state thing. Districts are a group of chapters within a geographical area. Chapters usually come first and then form districts. Our get together in Oct. will draw people from surrounding states and hopefully, if there should be a couple of people from one state, they might also unite as a chapter. Lucky for us that the Prez will be there to keep us in line. Thats a topic for another thread...lol |

Title: Re: Chapters and Districts Post by catlind on Jun 25th, 2003, 12:38pm Curtis if you can gather enough folks to form a Michigan Chapter (or even look into neighbouring states for a great lakes chapter) then you could always try to talk to Dr Saper who was part of the civamide trials. Just a thought :) Cat |

Title: Re: Chapters and Districts Post by don on Jun 25th, 2003, 12:41pm It's really up to the chapters to decide the geographical or population boundries. There is plenty of fexibilty available to the chapters. It is important though that each chapter be able to focus on a localized area. The idea behind the chapters is to use them as outreach in a coordinated national effort. |
