Post by 9erfan on Jun 24th, 2003, 3:30pm It's so strange to me when I hear episodics talking about their cycles (and being in cycle and when the next cycles is coming, etc). When I was episodic, I didn't have my episodes at the same time every year. I never knew when my next episode was coming. They would come & go with no rhyme or reason. Does this happen to anyone else? The only thing I remember is that every year my episodes seem to get more & more frequent and last longer & longer as time went on until 1 day I became chronic... ??? |

Post by cbolony on Jun 24th, 2003, 4:05pm Big Dan early jan cycle started ended march 6 two weeks PF then low kip shadows still in them. the verapamil by it's self did nothing and 2 wks a go started depakote combo with the verapamil.Now 2 aday instead of 7-8 hang in there Big Dan |

Went from every two years on the nose to every 16 / 18 months now. Anyhow, a shadow or two shortly after a cycle is very common for me. It'll pass, hang tight. Jmin |

I was a couple of months removed from my last cycle, and I woke up with a mid-kip headache, and some mild shadowing. Fortunately, the next day I felt fine, and have had no trouble since. Incidentally, that day I had spread a bunch of pesticide granule on my lawn. Can you think of anything that was out of the ordinary that you did recently? PFDANs -Curtis |

Prior to this spring, my cycle would come on hard and strong, very few shadows that did not escalate to the real thing. These cycles came randomly, but never lasted for more than a month. For the past 3 months I have had nothing but shadows, almost daily. I am still waiting for the other shoe to drop, but as of now just treating the really annoying ones with mass quantities of Stoly's (guys at the liquor store now know me by name). I hope this finds you well, I will send some vibes as well. |

My last cycle was pretty brutal and the longest so far. About two months after I got hit a couple of times, different times of day, just isolated (as a matter of fact I had one this morning) I do believe that isolated incidents are possible, taunting if you will. Does it piss me off, hell yeah! But at the same time it is a good reminder that I shouldn't blow off my follow up app. with the neuro, an app. I made 6 months ago and was ready to just forget about it. Also as suggested by many I went back to verap, as maintenance in the "off season". I only take 80mg. Make sure you have your favorite abortive at hand, and just keep on enjoying the summer.
