Yes you guessed it. I went for my eye exam. The doctor asked me if I had headaches, I said yes I have clusters. He said on man those are hell. I feel for you! WOW a eye doctor knows about clusters!!!! He would not dillate my eyes cause he was afraid it would cause an attack. I was shocked at his knowlege. He told me it was taught to them in school about the different types oF headaches. He put some drops in my eyes that made them sting. My eyes hurt for just a few minutes, by the time the exam was over I was hit. He was real cool, he knew I had to take meds and asked where they were he handed me my pocket book. I took the shot. He let me just have the room to myself. I took up his room for a good 10 minutes. He kept saying he was sorry to me...I am usually the one saying I am sorry. The guy was real cool. He worked in the sears eye center in Morrow Ga.
I just thought it was cool had to share it.

E... Dave had almost the same type of experience... when he was fitted for his glasses except for the fact that the sales woman was a jerk about it...
She kept touching the side of his face and insisted on putting the glasses on his face...and all of a sudden wham... she wouldnt even get him water to take an imatrex pill when he got hit and kept looking at him like he was some kind of nut... We left in a hurry without the 300 frames she was trying to suck us in for...
That doc seemed like a great guy that you saw... Keep HIM understanding is a very good quality for an eye doc... we love our eye doc too... sorry bout the attack feel better.............love ree

Wow Elaine that doc deserves ona the CH bumper stickers fer sure....he sounded way too cool....Wish they were all that way Pam :)

Elaine, that is cooler than cool.

A friend of mine who is a pediatric cardiologist told me once, that in med. school they get exactly 1/2 hour of training in headaches. ALL headaches. A lousy 1/2 hour. I would have given that Opthamologist of yours a big hug.

WOW....that's refreshing to hear/read !!!!
So there is still some compassion out there :D

Unfortunate for the ch, but so lucky to be where you were. I'm glad he took the time with you to make sure you felt okay.
