I am home briefly for a shower and bit of sleep etc so quick update. It was very scary at first but, David J- you are right, it is now diagnosed as a bacterial infection in both lungs and ears. Not Asthma thank goodness. He is improving well, still has IV antibiotics and needs oxygen at night but was being naughty and rude this afternoon and trying to leap about so all is well. Will be kept in for a while yet while he needs IV and oxygen, but hopefully will be out by the end of the week before he drives everyone potty. Thanks again everyone, it makes such a difference knowing you are thinking of us. Talk to you all soon Wendy the Brit |
