Title: Doctor learning about clusters
Post by BobG on Jun 19th, 2003, 4:27pm
I don't know if it is proper or not to copy/paste from the guest Book but I thought this belonged here.

A very helpful forum and well organised. I am a rural GP learning more about what CH sufferers say and do to care for themselves beyond current pharmaceutical drugs, and which if any pharmaceuticals seem to be more than a "band-aid quick fix". So - thank you all, and looking forward to learning.

What this is fake!
Doctors don’t come here! ;)
That’s ludicrous!

He's also joined the clusterbusters to learn about fungus and it's role in controlling CH.

It's good to hear from docs :)

Got my thank you note out.  Thanks for the email addy.  Perhaps he'll pass along to his friends how we suffer and how we appreciate docs that care.

We tried a president from Arkansas, you see where that got us... now we gotta trust a Doctor from the same state?? Does he smoke cigars?  ::)  ;D

Just kidding of course, I think it's great that some doctors are actually out there trying to help. Hope more and more keep coming around, whether from Arkansas or not  ;D ;D ;D

I sure hope my neuro is reading all this  ::)
HELLO DOC!!! If only one doc tells two docs, then they tell two docs, and so on...  we could at least get more people more care more quickly. I had to wait one year and endure HORRIBLE pain before beeing treated properly. Most people here have FAR worse tales. Any doctors that are reading this board PLEASE tell your doctor buddies about this place!
Thank you  ;D

No wonder he thinks we're interesting - he's a shrink LOL

I'm sure he could get lots of business with us LOL.

Not quite a "shrink" Cat. You need to be an MD to be a shrink.

He is a therapist. A therapist once told me I should embrace the pain.

How about I embrace your neck !

A good therapists is great for helping a sufferer to deal with the consuquences of our pain and I applaud Dr. Buchanan for the willingness to learn but DO NOT ASK ME TO BECOME ONE WITH THE PAIN!  LMAO

Just jotted a quick thank you to the Dr.  Told him how refreshing it is to have a doc take an interest in us as most show little interest or knowledge of what we have.  Thanks for posting it!
