I am getting hit! It CAN'T BE HAPPENING IN JUNE! I have nothing to fend it off but O2. Shit, it has broken through verapamil, clonopin (double dosage of verap.) ans is escalating fast...soory typing w/ one hand. i am depresed; what the hell, i can't win for more than a few months? -jim r

This sucks! I'm so sorry to hear it! Keep your chin up, we're here for you! I wish i had meds for you....but no meds until after my insurance kicks in.

Jim,

Call your Dr. and tell him what's going on and ask him to go to his cabinet where he keeps all the samples from the pharmacy reps. and to give you Imitrex or whatever you think will work. And don't forget strong coffee and ice packs. Good luck LindaH

Thank God, the O2 took care of it pretty fast. But it doesn't bode well for the coming summer. I want to go out on my boat, GD it! I never even got to winterize it last year because of these MF's! 2 months off is all! (and my heart and prayers go out to you chronics - I don't know how you DO IT!) and it SUCKS! He never REALLY leaves does he? I think I had a premonition that he was near-by.....

Really sorry to hear that Jim. Praying it is just a random hit, but you can handle it either way. Sometimes I think it is easier being chronic, (although I wouldn't mind trying episodic again just to be sure). At least we know we will be hit, and don't have to dread it coming on and messing up our plans.

BTW, is that the missing OUCH yacht you have? ;D

Thanks again everyone. You know, I was thinking what might have been a trigger last night. It was my first day on a plethora of new drugs or increased dosages. Let's see: NEW: clarinex, celebrex, klonopin, tizanidine, protonix. INCREASED DOSAGE: verapamil IN ADDITION TO: hydrochlorothiazide, clonodine (catapres), lipitor, and aspirin. You see I am 48 and apparently falling apart. :-/ I guess I'm lucky I just don't explode with all these chemicals coursing through my arteries! ;D
