I average less than two Spam emails per month and I'd like to keep it that way. |

Till then - I am from SE Michigan; 38 years old (will be 39 next month). I am happily married and have 4 beautiful children 2 boys and 2 girls, ages 10, 8, 6 and 5 months. I have had CH for 25 years and I am only grateful that I started cycling 2 months ago rather than when I was still pregnant because that would have sucked with a capital S (I know because I cycled part of my first pregnancy. They said I could only take regular tylenol ::) Thanks for nothing!!) There - I think that's more than you'd find out in my profile and more than I know about the rest of you :) :) |

Granted it is your choice but geez. Last social gathering I attended there were no name tags, nobody had personal info silk screened on their shirts and I actually me some very good people. A board that I might add we all loved very much. Then some people started signing other names to insulting posts, and threatening other people and being major league scarey... I myself think that having to have a legitimate(sp?) email is not asking alot. I for one had been terribly insulted, threatened and was frightened by a man, that has since supposedly died. How would you feel if tomorrow you signed on to find that someone used your name and insulted people here and actually told someone to take a gun to their head and kill themselves. Well that is one of the things that the imposter did... we put up with it for a long time then DJ bailed us out by again starting another board and what a fine board it is... I put my self out here for everyone to see no secrets here... I laugh cry and down right hurt for people that I dont even know. I expect the same from others that want to "belong" to the Message Board. Here in America we can choose who we will and will not associate with and if Don chooses not to associate because someone choses not to let us know even the remotest detail about themselves in order to help THEM well then... so be it... I understand how the board used to be, I have been coming and going since the mid to late 90's (can't remember exactly what year but 96 or 98 seems about right). I will update my email and insert my spammable address. This is one option for those afraid of spam, keep seperate mail accounts for personal, buisness and spammable. You can open up many accounts on Netscape for instance. I originally was a little miffed about the whole thing but after reading your reply I can see some true goodness and value to not being so "shy". As for you old timers out there, you may remember my by my real name from years ago, Jeff Centers. Unfortunatly I originally posted under my real name and now when I do a Webferret search using Jeff Centers, it brings up a link directly to a post I made while smack dab in the middle of a cycle!?!? I still get sh@t about that one (have asked DJ 3 times now to remove my name from that post). Anyone who knows DJ personally, please ask him to remove that. I learned the hard way not to. I have had my share of trouble because of it. But......you can make emails a hot mail account yahoo account and you can at least tell people your first name. People can do that without having any problems. A little hate mail never hurt anyone, thats why we have a delete button. I use it a lot :-)!! You don't even have to use your address or your real email address nor your real name to open a email with yahoo. I do answer people I don't know if they email me for help. I do think people who post here if they are on the up and up should post their emails. I don't shun them if they don't but it always leaves a a lot of questions in my mind about if they are for real. I have that question about some that post their email! I am going to eat now! STFU Don! |
