wow... this message board has really changed since the last time i was here... i'm a junior in college now (21 yrs old), and i was diagnosed this time of year my freshman year (19 yrs old)... so it's been almost two years i think since i've been on the site. i'm glad to see that it is still here.... i'm sure a majority of us can say the same about ourselves. it's been a really rough two years for me... four neurologists, countless drugs, some er visits, an imitrex overdose the week of my 20th b-day (due to one of my former neurologists who tried switching me to the 100mg tablet form when i was happy with 5mg nasal spray), and a severe bout of depression this last fall that almost made me quit school... among other things. it's hard being in college with ch. 50 miles from home, and friends who get scared everytime they see me rocking, crying, or banging my head up against something.
today (friday) was my first day back in the pool (i swim to cope with stress) since my surgery 6 weeks ago for ovarian cysts. pretty good timing on my ex-boyfriend's part... he broke up with me yesterday (thursday). but it still hurts... my head that is.

thanks for the supporting words... i still have 5 years (minimum) to go for that phd that i need to get.

Yes they were the days.

But I never smoked before I did brain surgery cause I thought it would take away from my arora. (look it up, its a a new word.....LOL ;D)
