Title: Detox update Post by jmorgan52 on Jun 9th, 2003, 4:17am Since before the Christmas season I have slowly allowed myself to slip back into eating wheat products again. The craving just got too strong with all the cakes and pastries and nice bread around. I know that my body does not react well to them, but it is much harder to give up than I thought. I feel they are a major contributer to both my CH and weight gain. I have not had any CH this year, but I had began to get a few mild but regular headaches over the last 6 weeks or so (shadows?), and began feeling letharic after about a year completely HA free largely I believe due to my detox regime. I decided to try another month long detox using the BePure product. This means only fruit/veg/water for 3 days a week, then add some chicken/fish/light meat/rice for 4 days and repeat for 4 weeks. No Wheat products, but this time I did not totally exclude alcohol! The first 4 days was awful. Dull headache, with lower back and shoulder pain all the time, and very frequent bowel movements (not runny though). After the first week I started to feel really well again. I am into my 3rd week now and have a clear head and feel great with lots of energy. I lost a few pounds too. I am still convinced this technique would help many of you guys to break the CH cycle.
