Title: Medical Term? Post by Mark C on Jun 9th, 2003, 3:34am Most every other ailment I know has a "medical term" for it's official name, something latin usually. So far I have only seen the term "clusterheadaches" to define our ailment. (Except here ;)) Question, is there an "official" name for CH? Hmmmmmmmmm. TIA, Mark |

Title: Re: Medical Term? Post by Drk^Angel on Jun 14th, 2003, 10:39pm According to the IHS... The category of headaches that clusters belong to is Trigeminal-Autonomic Cephalgias, but they use Cluster Headaches as the "official" name of our sub-category. Most all other names for this affliction are previously used, outdated terms. PFDAN............................... Drk^Angel |
