I have had two vacations "challenged" by the onset of a brand new cycle. The first in Cancun/ one trip to the ER and no more 10s. The second was up in Lake Tahoe/ Winter. First attack came on in the car from the airport to the cabin. This cycle boomed through my whole week!! (pre Imitrex) Ruined everything and the cycle ended up being the longest ever, 2 months!!
Many yrs ago a friend sent me some headache literature and among the things I remember : the vacation/ trigger effect.

ahhhh, the dreaded "relaxation trigger".
Some of us know it well.
I plan on staying extremely stressed until
after the convention. Overdue now :)

Never go to Cancun, never winter at Tahoe, stay out of cabins and airports and never rent a car. ;D
