Title: Has this ever been discussed?
Post by Live4Fun on Jun 8th, 2003, 10:43am
I was watching the Late Late show with Conan OBrien the other night and he had Jerry Lewis (the comedian) as a guest.  Jerry has had chronic pain (I believe in his back) for 37 years, at least until he had an implant placed in his back that sends electrical impulses to the nerve endings. (check it out at www.tamethepain.com )

Has any body done research to see if this would work for chronic CHers? Is there any sort of surgical implants that have helped chronics in the past?

Talk amongst yourselves, I'm overclempt! (Sorry SNL flashback there...)   8)

I have read publishings about an implantable device into our brain that will help us abort headaches.  It is in the testing phase as of yet.  Not a lot of research and results in on it yet.
