Any travel agents in the family?

So far all I can find for flights to the convention are ones that have me leaving Boston, stopping in Cincinnati, Philly, Atlanta (take your pic) before I fly to Syracuse. One flight is $624.....I paid half that in Januaray to fly to Phoenix and back......keep in mind this is a damn 1 hour flight from Boston to syracuse, the $624 flight is a 8 hour 40 min flight....WTF am I missing here?

I was going to drive because of the financial situation I was in but I find myself building back the empire I once had faster than I thought I would.

I tried Orbitz (thats the $624 place) I wont try Priceline cause I wont give my creditcard unless I know I have the flight, going directly to the airline sites are just as bad.

Anyone know any tricks to this shit?

Shit!!!, I dont even care if its a prop plane at this point

Jonny, I checked out Orbitz and put in dates July 18-20 and came back with a fare for 271.00.
There is one lay over with each flight though.

OMG ... Sorry Jonny but I had to laugh my butt off at this one. They have me traveling from Harrisburg, PA to Buffalo, NY for work all the time now with the conversion/buyout where I work. Like I really want to travel with no job in my future. The joke of it is ....... I could drive to Buffalo faster than they can fly me. Sometimes life sucks ........... sometimes it don't. Hope you find a good flight ........... but if you don't ........... suck it up and know someone knows what you are going through !!!!!!!

Jonny, I looked up Boston, Syracuse, Boston rdtrip, onhotwire, July 18 thru 21. $221.

You cant pick the times though. That's the only thing. Check it out.

Jonny the problem with the airline prices is that it's the High Season which means everything gets twice as expensive if not ordered 6 months in advance. you may want to try looking on Ebay as some travel agencies use that site to get rid of excess tickets they have already purchased or tickets they're having a hard time selling.

I want to thank everyone that emailed, pm'ed, im'ed , called me (3 hot chicks called..you know who you are ;D) and posted here with info on flights. I was able to get a flight for $188 R/T with your help. I get there Thursday evening and bug out Monday afternoon. Alexandria Bay is in trouble, im meeting someone at Handcock International in Syracuse and driving down to tear the place up......LOL ;D

Can anyone tell me what a De Havillan 8 is?....me thinks its one of those planes that went down in NC cause they seated all the fat peeps on one side of the plane. On my flight I will not only be sky marshall I will also be monitoring the seating arangements ;D

Michelle and I are getting in to Syracuse about 5:30, and I already have a car reserved. You need a ride? Does anyone else need a ride?

We are going to find a ~~bar~~ restaurant, and wait on E's flight to come in, so whoever rides with us will have to wait for just a little bit with us.

I promise we don't bite (too much), so you should be safe!! ;) ;D
