Just found out that my aunt, who was a nurse, has been hiding a little secret. She has had flu like symptoms for 2 weeks, so after much encouragement, she went to a doctor. Come to find out, she has two lumps in her breasts(which I am sure she knew). The cancer has spread to her lungs, and liver as we know so far. It may have progressed farther.

My mom died 2 years ago from cancer that noone knew she had till it was too late. Now my dad's sister is in the same boat.

That just sucks! I am sorry about the bad news.....poor health makes all other problems seem smaller. You are still on the list Sir....I will just add the family too!

Thank you guys for your words of encouragement and prayers. Phyllis passed away last night, so we will be making the arduous journey from Missouri to Michigan tomorrow night. Please pray for us and our safety - we don't have the most reliable car. And, money is extremely tight.

I'm sorry to hear of your loss and will indeed pray for your safe journey (and return). I hope that your time with your family will be comforting for all of you.

I also feel for you since you'll likely be driving that "ever-fun" route through Gary Indiana - the scratch-n-sniff stretch of traffic jams.
