For anyone who doesn't yet know, there will be a convention for OUCH (Organization for Understanding Cluster Headaches) July 18, 19, and 20th in Alexandria Bay NY, at the Pine Tree Point resort.

The 18th will be socializing and a hospitality suite where everyone will receive their welcome bags and get to mix and mingle, make new friends, and reacquaint themselves with old ones.

The 19th will be the speaking engagements. The speaking times are from 10a.m. until finished, or 6 p.m. whichever comes first. Dr. Bigal, Lori Choyce (RN), Dr. Sanderson (ER Doc), and a crisis counsellor are on the agenda for that day.

After the speakers are finished, in what will be a round table forum, (so bring your quesitons - Dr. Bigal is representing the New England Headache Center which was involved extensively in the civamide trials) we will have the banquet.

The banquet is set for a Poolside BBQ unless it rains (then we'll be inside). The meal and awards and prizes will be done at this time.

Sunday the 20th will be mostly a free day. There is golf and boating and a multitude of other activities available for the day, or you can just kick back and enjoy the view of the 1000 Islands and visit with your fellow clusterheads.

CB, that's great news to hear! It's kewl to know that these folks are actually involved with OUR clusterheads!

I look forward to meeting them both :) Wish you could be there too. Tell Lori to just bring you along as carry on luggage hehe.

For all of you people who want to come to the convention, but can't for whatever reason.

WORK...FINANCES..OTHER EMERGIENCIES.

Please stayed tuned for all the posts you're gonna hear about this one, so you can then plan on next years convention. Linda H
