Title: They're back!!1 Post by sfly on May 21st, 2003, 9:19am ???after 5 years without a ch, they're back. not in full force but they are back. 3 last night, any clues as to this how this awful demon works? i go for botox injections nest wek, will let you know how it works. |

Recent findings point to an enlarged hypothalymus being somehow involved in the mechanism. A study of CH sufferers using positron emission topography has shown activation in the hypothalamus solely in the pain state but not when they were out of the bout. I'm still learning, but printing out the medical info to read when I have PF times has worked well. Read everything you can - all those buttons on the left. Don't forget the OUCH site! I don't know anything about Botox other than I haven't seen much or any significant follow ups here. They seem to me to disappear. I hope it’s because it’s so successful.
