How about praying that someone would become chronic?

I would pray for you,  but according to the statement at the bottom of your message you are already CRONIC.
Someone else must have beat me to it.

To me this is the ultimate clusterville sin!!!

If you peeps would like to take the trip down to the medication board (I strangle myself) you will see this was totally unprevoked.

Even prevoked this is way out of line, or is it?

The God I know, wouldn't answer a prayer like that any way. If he did answer it , it would not be the answer you prayed for. Becareful what you pray for, it just might backfire, being in chronic hell is no fun!

Here we pray for good things for each other even you! I pray someday you will see the light!!! I pray Jonny will be pain free for a long time.

I didnt post this for everyone to start the name calling (although its funny)

I just want to know if you think its ok for someone to post here saying that they would pray for another clusterhead to become chronic.

Ive seen some people being draged through the mud just for wishing a 10 on someone.

Jonny,

There are a lot of not a very nice persons in the world....  For us to even wonder about them and their motives takes energy away from our ability to fight these MF's.  In my humble opinion, when faced with crap from this ilk, "rise above it".

I haven't read the post yet, but I must say that whoever wrote this has MUCH worse problems than CH.

I think this is uncalled for, vicious and downright mean.

I am a person that tries to give everyone a fair shake.  But that kind of sentiment is not only counterproductive, but rude, and anti supportive.

NO, absolutely NOT! Jonny, i'm chronic too and would never, ever wish this on someone let alone PRAY for someone to have chronic clusters or even a ten.  Now even though some people may even deserve a punishment like that, i still wouldn't wish it on them, and i totaly agree with Elaine, Be careful what you PRAY for.

I think that guy is obtuse, disturbed and even maybe an evel side to him, to wish that on anyone!

I'll tell ya Dude (Terrylch), if yer reading this i think you owe Jonny an apology for stateing something like that, because doing something like that to anyone of the cluster family, won't make you too many friends if any on this MB, and that's a fact!

Ya know, i don't do this often, going back a little on what i said earlier.  After reading Lindas post and Franks, i believe i would WISH it on people like THAT, but i still wouldn't pray for it to happen to them.

So what i'm trying to say is only wish things like that on people that you know for sure need that kind of punishment, but don't go wishing it on someone like Jonny, who already suffers with it and not knowing Jonny and wishing that on him WAS WRONG!

Jonny,

We all know that your sense of humor can be off-color sometimes.  :-/  And being as conservative as I am, sometimes it does offend me....BUT everytime you have answered 1 of my questions in IM, or given me advice on meds or oxygen, or given support to someone suffering....that FAR OUTWEIGHS the fact that you GROSS me out sometimes with your jokes.   And I would NEVER wish clusters on you or pray for you to be chronic!

terrylch's post was completely inappropriate & offensive.  I am particularly offended that he would even use God's name in that post.  It is evil to even suggest that you would pray for someone on this board to be chronic.

Ok, seeing that I was prey/prayed apon?

I really dont think Terry should be bounced from here because if he does have CH there is nowhere else to go and I would not wish "Being alone" on anyone.

The only reason I brought his post to the main board was to show him just how much his wish was a hurtful wish.

jonny, turning the other cheek?, maybe so!....maybe I give a dude a break like the one that was given to me.

Terry shouldnt go in my book, could be the dude is going through a bad time other than CH and shit is just building up on him.....This is my thinking, otherwise I would have hammered him right off.

Maybe the dude will post, but as bad as praying for some one to be chronic is im willing to overlook it if he is going through a bad time with lots of shit.

Jonny- good for you, Terry may be in trouble and hitting out, BUT

MESSAGE FOR TERRY

Seriously here. I have read all your posts and several things are apparent:

You consider that you have a faith of some kind
You say that you are a CH sufferer
You feel you have things to say that are not being listened to
You have a beef with the board, generally that people here are not open minded enough, and for some reason, specifically you seem to have a problem with Jonny.

I would wish to say to you (and I have listened to you so please do me the same courtesy)

NO FAITH OR GOD IN MY WORLD WOULD CONDONE YOUR BEHAVIOUR, I THINK A RETRACTION AND APOLOGY IS REQUIRED

IF YOU HAVE COME HERE FOR INFORMATION AND SUPPORT, PLEASE STAY

IF YOU HAVE COME HERE TO ATTACK OTHERS AND WISH THEM ILL, YOU ARE NOT WELCOME AND MUST LEAVE

IF YOU ARE AN OLD  BOARD MEMBER WHO HAS REREGISTERED UNDER A NEW NAME- HAVE THE GUTS TO SAY WHO YOU ARE

Imagine the crime fighting potential of having the ability to cause cluster headaches. Such a person could be a veritable super-hero.

I wouldn't wish for anyone to become chronic, even convicted murderers, rapists, etc... Those people should simply be eliminated. I would not hesitate, however, to wish a single attack upon a person who considers a CH sufferer weak or pathetic or crazy or irresponsible because of the measures they take to obtain relief.

Example:
Pharmacist: (condescending tone) "You know, your last prescription should have lasted you until next monday. I don't know if I am going to ... OH MY GOD, THE PAIN, FUCK ME. JESUS, I CAN'T STAND THE PAIN. -bangs head on floor- SOMEBODY HELP ME, PLEASE! SO... MUCH...PAIN!"

Wishing/praying for another CH sufferer to go chronic is so far off the end of the WRONG scale it's sickening!

That said, I must admit I've wished that, "Just once he/she could experience the pain of a Kip 10 for an hour or so." I'm thinking of: subluxationskill, my boss, my doc, and the ad exec who thought up "Migraine-Strength Excedrin". While I do feel guilty for wishing short-term pain on these folks, it's only a little guilt and the feeling passes quickly. As for Terry, "Shame on you!"

My boss and I were talking about CH and he asked me, "Just how bad are they?"   I  said, "I wouldn't wish them on Sherrie."  She's the woman who made my life hell when I first started working at the restaurant 8 years ago.  5 years later she finally left and I went around all day singing "Ding-Dong the witch is dead, the wicked witch is dead."

Pretty thoughtful and too nice a bunch here.

Sure, I'd wish it on a few. The Oklahoma City bomber would have come to mind. Makes capital punishment even more unnecessary. WTC terrorists could use about 700 years of Kip 80s too.

I wouldn't wish chronic on my worst enemy, but in a few dark fantasies I have wished some people could feel what we feel for just one minute, maybe five for the really tough sells...

After they screamed for a few minutes, we could say "See?" Told you. Would have a cure in no time.

As far as praying someone would go chronic...Idpn't care how bad you are feeling, that was way out of line. God doesn't answer "prayers" like that.

We would have a cure for CH in no time.

although I ( as usual) have missed the post that instigated this thread, I have to wonder if the one who wishes CH upon anyone is really a sufferer, for surely one who suffers this affliction would not wish it upon his worst enemy.

And to add a little intrigue......Jonny has been very supportive of all who legitimately come here for help, to anyone who would blaspheme him and the lord in one thread would be the recipient of a beating from me just on principle.

Unfortunately, I don't have time to read the 3 pages of postings on this topic, but I wanted to share my thoughts.

#1 - I would never pray that somone would get these things.  To do so is complete idiocy.

#2 - I do wish more could experience the pain of Cluster Headaches, not on a Chronic basis, but so that they can know what we go through.  I would love for a few doctors around to experience it so they can know what it is like.  i would love for a few people that knod their head when you tell them what you have and then they say they have the same thing.  Then they say, and I also get meegraines.  Oh that they could experience one day of clusters.

Terry,

Please do not pretend to know who God is by continuing to USE His name in your sick posts.  You insult and offend those of us who do know him.
