thank you all for the welcome!!!......Curtis, I wish I had some "new" trick or tip... but after spending hours catching up on all of you and your past posts I'm sorry to say I cannot.....after all these years I have tried all "listed" treatments without any success.....many of these drugs have made me feel worse because they raise my bloodpressure and make me feel like I'm about to pass out or stroke out....( I have high blood pressure and I'm on meds......I also have CLL leukemia, which is another story).....I use imitrex and stand in a scalding hot shower for a half an hour....can only take the 50mg pills because the injections and spray raise my pressure.....the 50 mg cuts the pain to about a kip 5....Wendy, I was a math teacher....so I wont be able to help Jonny!!!!!.....Andy, where in Fla?...I'm in Boca....see you guys later....been up with the beast since 4 and will now try to get some ZZZZZZZ.....later, Tony 18/6

Hi Tony. I'm glad you found us, but sorry you need to be here. I know you mentioned that you tried all the 'listed' treatments, but have you tried verapamil? I ask because it actually lowers blood pressure. Verapamil is a sanity saver for several clusterheads (myself included, although my BP got a little too low the other day). Maybe you can take care of 2 problems with 1 med ???

Tony,
I use 720 mg of Verapamil every day and i also have extremely high blood pressure. The Verap helps my BP a lot and even alows me to use the Trex inj and nasal spray. My pressure never gets to low, but that's me, it may react differently with you. Who knows, you might want to give it a try. I didn't see any help from it until i got up to 720 though.
