How many of you c-heads have never smoked? I know most of us do or have. Has anyone ever heard that kicking the smoking thing ever helped anyone with the pain.

tannero they are people who quit smoking and they still have CH.There are some topics on this where a lot of people have posted on it.You are going to have to do some searching

Quittin' smokin' stops the beast? I wish it was that simple... But then again... If no smokin' = no beast, I wouldn't have started having clusters until many years later than I did. Hell... My current cycle started me smokin' again. I think it's the other way around... The beast causes ppl to smoke... Well that and all that damned peer pressure...

I have read some on this and I still have this question. Is there anyone out there who has never smoked and has to deal with chs??

Closing in on four years that ive been here and im here everyday....Ive never seen a post that CH was cured by quiting smoking.

My older brother was recently diagnosed with CH and he has never smoked in his life.

Yes. Me. The only tobacco I EVER smoked was 1 puff on a cigar. Once. Never again.

I have never smoked anything, ever. I'm 42 now and have had these since I was 22. els

I went from one pack a day to two packs a day when i got CH. Getting CH made me smoke more, i don't know why, i guess it's the pain and even maybe the meds. I notice that if i try to guit, my nervs get a little worse from withdrawal and cause my CH to get a little heavier. Thats just me though, who knows what it would do for somebody els if they quit.

I don't smoke either, never have. I did grow up with two parents who smoked though. Never heard of quitting smoking to reduce/stop CH. I don't think it's that easy.

I was smoking a pack a day when mine sarted. I stopped two weeks into. Because the Dr. said that the smoking was contributing to it. I haven't picked it up again since.

He lied!! That's all I can say.

I've never smoked (I don't think you can count that 1 cigarette in the 6th grade) and have had clusters for 18 years....

Tried to quit smokin one thing or the other, still got em. Started smokin again, still got em. Go figure.

LMAO Tom, notice how I worded that, emphasis on smoking tobacco? BTW I think my problem was I deeply inhaled on the cigar... big mistake... like I said, never again. LOL.

Eyes--nothing like a good Cuban...cigar, too! Stay away from the midgets. They can be trublesome.
