Title: If you all wouldn't mind.... Post by Jackie on May 14th, 2003, 9:27am I just got a call from a friend of mine. One of our shotgun buddies from the gun club was in a terrible accident last night....hit by a semi that blew a light. He's in critical condition...in a coma and is undergoing brain surgery right now. I've seen miracles on this board...if you all wouldn't mind saying a prayer or sending him good vibes, I'd really appreciate it. His name is Doug...he's a little man and is always in constant motion. I call him Dougie the Wart Hog. He coached me in one shotgun dicipline once and it enabled me to win the club championship. He's a good guy with a heart of gold....just remarried a couple years ago and is finally happy. I try not to question but why does this shit happen. I'm rambling so I'll hush now.... Jacks 8) |

A friend of mine a few years back had the same thing happen to her on her way home from school one night - spent almost a year in the hospital, before the rehab center. We've seen miracles happen but it doesn't look like we're gonna get the nod this time. He's hurt to bad. The doctors give no hope and the brain activity is almost nil and void. The decision has been made to discontinue life support tonight. I would have sworn that that little Warthog's head was to hard to get hurt that bad....bless his heart. I do know you are a believer in God, so I know you know he is going home. The best thing is he will be sitting at the table with our Lord. From what you told me about him. I am sure that he will bring a smile to all angels there. I just know at the next club shoot you and all his friends will feel him there with you all.
