Ya know, There is someone worse than the insurance company.......Its the fucker you work for that takes money out of your check every week for medical insurance and does not pay the premium.

Got notice in the mail today that the wifes work place has stopped paying and we have been uninsured since Febuary but they still keep pulling out well over $100 a week out of her check. Shes past due for a mamogram and im past due for a blood test for the lithium levels, got enough Verap and Lith to last me two weeks with no refills. One thing I have going for me is that my daughter gets the same lithium for MS but never takes it, she called me tonite and said she has 90 caps for me.....If I half dose I can make that last a couple months.

The people that own the place my wife works (Nursing home) are millionares and have never met me.....They will soon!!!!

I see horror stories one at a time in different threads, Care to put yours in this one thread incase  someone that matters logs on?

Thank you, CB.....but I have a couple of clusterheads that have Verap that they dont need. I would never take meds from someone that is using them.

It is illegal (1) to take money out of an employees check for insurance but not pay the premium... it's called fraud... and theft. (2) It is illegal to cancel an employees medical insurance without prior notice (federal Cobra insurance laws apply). It's even illegal to fire an employee and cancel his/her insurance the same day.

So you need to (1) notify the insurance company that is what happened.... they may re-instate the insurance for a short time, even for no money.  And (2) file a complaint with your state's insurance commissioner ASAP. And (3) since that shit is illegal... talk to a lawyer (except if your wife's employer has no money, then it ain't worth bothering).

i agree with all you said....but in reverse order....get a lawyer...file the complaint....THEN tell the insurance company.... and i HATE lawyers (even tho my best friend is one....300lb Samoan guy.....) ;)

I mentioned who to contact in the reversed order because it might get the insurance coverage turned back on faster.

Hello tell Marie to just let you run her over with the front wheels of the car feels the same. as a mamogram.. that really does suck jonny. They just changed our insurance and we have payed for just about every blood test exray etc that we have had for the past year.

Whats your verap dose brother?  I'll see if I can get my doc to ok it.  I don't use it but may be able to convince her I need to try it.  I'll keep filling and you'll keep getting it.

Hey Jonny - if you can tell me how long lithium is good for, I'll tell you if I have some....  I have lots of extras from last year, not taking them now, and can get more if my neuro puts me on it again next cycle.  Can't help you with the verap - sill using that - I'm a "lifer" for verap.  Good luck to you, bro.

I hate attorneys. I used to have a friend who was an attorney. On his desk was a little bobble head doll that said "Sue the Bastards". I agree with the bobble head doll.

On a side note, I fired my attorney yesterday....felt kinda good actually!  ;D

Thanks folks....It seems ive been put under a cease and disist order from hurting anyone at this moment. seems that someone wants to talk to the insurance company and see if coverage can be reinstated before I going killing people.

She has one week to settle this shit, after that I unleash the mules of war.......NOBODY steals from me ever!!!

And yes I am married, 13 years last sunday.

Thank you to everyone here and in email that offered some meds I need, I have 170 Verap coming from mid country and I got the Lith from my daughter. This should keep me ok for a couple months, Im writing all your names down just incase I run out and still dont have insurance. ;D

You people are the greatest!!!!!
